Answers to questions commonly raised by the users

Q: For WTE terminal users, the system reports error "NB 1008" when the system is started.
A: (1) The simulation card and the driver can not match each other;
(2) In case the problem mentioned in (1) does not exit, the error is probably caused by wrong configuration. You should check the terminal's WTE configuration program cfg.exe to see whether the terminal is a master terminal or a slave terminal. If it's a master slave, you should select "Master"; if it's a slave terminal, you should select "Slave" (see the following diagram).

Q: For WTE terminal users, the system reports error "LAN DOWN" when it's started.
A: (1) Please check to see whether the LAN is in normal situation;
(2) If the LAN is in normal situation, please check whether the MASTER name of the slave terminal is consistent with that of the master terminal. Note: The cases of the corresponding names must be consistent.

Q: When FOS32 prepares simplified bills for port entry and exit, the system can not confirm waybill and reports the following errors: (1) Error declared value, (2) Error quantity/weight/volume/description, (3) Error freight and (4) Error total price.
A: (1) If the user wants to prepare an international waybill, he should check to see whether there is a tick before the column "International cargo" under "System setting" in FOS32's menu. There should be a tick before the column "International cargo". If the error still exists after the column is really ticked, please check to see whether the working area of the instruction interface is in international area I: the working area should be in international area I.
(2) If the user wants to prepare a domestic waybill, he should check to see whether there is a tick before the column "International cargo" under "System setting" in FOS32's menu. There should not be a tick before the column "International cargo". If there is really no tick before the column and the error still exists, please check to see whether the working area of the instruction interface is in domestic area N. The working area should be in domestic area N.

Q: Why the display of Chinese content is abnormal during information inquiry on FOS32?
A: Please check to see whether "Chinese (China)" has been selected under the item Control panel->District setting in Windows operating system. "Chinese (China)" should be selected.

Q: When a Customer uses voice inquiry to inquire about waybills, there always no answer after music or the music lasts for a long time.
A: (1) The Customer should check to see whether the corresponding IP addresses after Serverip in tele.ini is correct. The corresponding IP after Serverip should be the IP address of the terminal that is installed with Pcomserver program.
(2) If the problem mentioned in (1) does not exist, the error may possibly be caused by wrong program staring sequence, i.e. tele.exe has been started first and pcomserver.exe second (the correct sequence should be pcomserver.exe first and tele.exe second). Solution: Close tele.exe first and then open tele.exe.

Q: Why a waybill is already transmitted to the flight after pre-stowage instead of stowage has been made for the flight?
A: The reason is that the stowage method for the flight has not been limited. After pre-stowage is made to the flight, the system will automatically allocate the goods waiting for transportation by the carrier in this leg to the flight. Solution: Let's take the processing of CAN-PEK flight carried by CZ as an example. Before stowage, TS should make an instruction VCZCANPEK in the working area (this instruction only needs to be made only once.)
