With China's entry into WTO, lots of foreign freight service provider like UPS and FedEX, globalized service networks and higher-level service have all entered into China's market, which brings in unparalleled competitive pressure to domestic airfreight service industry. Therefore, domestic service providers are confronting the pressure to reform their operational ideas and modes. Composition of the Solution

Logically, the general frame of the solution is composed by two major parts:
The first part is the business management system, consisting of Management System for freight marketing and proxy business-InfoLogis, Warehouse Management System for the supply chain-WMS and Transportation System for the supply chain-TMS;
The second part is the information service platform, which serves to provide various information services to different customers (including WEB application, Call Center and E-Mail service) and the data interface service for varied external systems.

Business Management System

InfoLogis――a management system for cargo marketing and agent service

InfoLogis, a software system designed for freight forwarders and logistics enterprise, boasts multiplied performances and functions concerned with these agents and enterprises' customer management, rate management, marketing, booking management, export and import business, delivery management and logistics management etc.

  • Following the industrial application standards of Cargo2000, the system supports the door-to-door information delivery of the sub-bill at Grade II and related services;
  • Through special application security control subsystem, the system will grant different users entered into the system different visiting authority so as to ensure the safety of the application and data of the whole system.
  • It provides the user flexible and definable rate figuring modes supporting the management and calculation of complex rate and helps the enterprise to realize income statistics collection; it can also define the rules of settlement flexibly so as to enable the enterprise to realize the settlement in both two directions.
  • It supports the operation and management of the staff from different hierarchies, backing not only the basic operators to perform standard operation with the system to improve business efficiency but also the managerial staff to implement business supervision and statistical analysis with the system.

WMS――warehouse management system of the supply chain

  • Catering to the logistics storage business, the system supports multiplied package units, multi-level BOM, S.N., B.N., quality guarantee period, commodity attribute, SKU and MU operating management, and is able to realize packing, combination, Cross Docking, batch picking and the operating modes of SOI.
  • It supports the RF bar-code scanning and is able to integrate excellently the operating wave crest and trough according to the circling check plan and warehouse shift plan generated automatically by the system, therefore, it is helpful for the company to promote the cargo-handling capacity and the responding efficiency of its warehouse.
  • It can provide flexible methods for information integration and technique sharing, supporting the managerial mode of VMI as well as the protective tariff supervision of the custom.

TMS――transportation management system of the supply chain

  • To meet the demand of transportation management of logistics enterprise and based on the mode order-transportation order-dispatching bill, the system manages the overall transportation process with the execution and tracking of orders as the main line.
  • The system is able to implement multiplied customers service, combined loading, route arrangement, cargo allotment to vehicles and integrated multi-mode transportation etc. The mixed operation of cargo collection and delivery is inside the range of its capacity. Supporting the utilization and management of the vehicles of the company itself, of other cooperative entities or of the public, the system can be used to reconcile the conflict between cost control and service quality existing in the transportation service of the logistics enterprise.
  • It provides the user flexible and definable rate figuring modes so as to enable the enterprise to realize the settlement in both two directions.
  • The system is a complete solution combining advanced information techniques and optimization techniques based on the matured experience of advanced 3PL in transportation and delivery business.

Information Service Platform

Being an integration based on business system, the information service platform can provide its user the information of cargo, storage and transportation etc. stored in the information platform in many different ways for the purpose of promoting most the level of customer service and the economic benefit.

The platform serves mainly for shippers, manufacturers, airlines, airports and governmental organizations like custom etc. To enable the customer viewing the logistic information by one stop is the core task of the platform. Directed by the demands of customers, it is designed with different service performances to meet the service requirements of different customers for different application in different ways.

Its service ranges from the content service for customer and the data exchange service aiming at external systems:

  • The content service involves Websites, Call Center and E-Mail etc.
  • InfoSky's E-Cargo system is adopted for the website to provide inquiry and application services like flight/flight course inquiry, cargo bill inquiry, inquiry of rate publicized, on-line space booking, operation rules publication and information publication etc.
  • The call center is used to settle issues related with basic consultancy, inquiry, simple business and complaint.   • The data interface supports a large variety of cutover methods and transmission format of data, including the automatic organization and resolution of the message format of IATA that follows the industrial standards, the data transmission format of custom's EDI, XML format etc. and supports various messages from domestic and foreign airlines and stations.
  • Through establishing a unified data exchange mode and integrate the information exchange interface of the information platform system with that of surrounding systems, the data interface enables each subsystem of core business under the overall frame of the information platform to share and exchange information with various external system related and contributes to realizing the exchange and integration of data and information.
